Abuse happens in every nursing home in every state and worldwide

If they tell you there is no abuse in their nursing home they are lying.  Everytime a hidden camera is installed it catches abuse and neglect.    THIS IS NOT A BUSINESS, NON  PROFIT OR POLITICAL SITE

IT IS TO BRING AWARENESS TO ELDERLY ABUSE

Fighting Nursing Home Abuse

I have been fighting nursing home abuse for over 14 years.  My mother was abused in four different nursing homes.  I visited everyday, sometimes twice a day.  My family went when they could.  I was involved with the care of my mother and placed strict care plans, and I still could not stop the abuse.

All nursing homes needs cameras in every room, in every state, and I will campaign to get this done.  Also there needs to be a nursing home reform bill.  Laws need to be changed to make it a mandatory felony 3 to abuse the elderly.  We have to stop nursing  homes from banning family who  fight for the residents bill of rights.  There needs to be a law of staffing ratio, and nursing home employees should make the minimum wage of $15 an hour.
