"Esther's Law" Ohio House Bill will allow residents and family to place a camera in their loved ones nursing home room. The Law is being submitted in the Ohio House with bipartisan sponsors.

Esther Piskor was brutally abused in a nursing home. Her son Steve Piskor placed a hidden camera and caught eight aids involved in her abuse. The story went worldwide and every major news station in the world, and on all nursing home abuse sites and attorney nursing home abuse sites reported the story.

Fighting Nursing Home Abuse
I have been fighting nursing home abuse for over 14 years. My mother was abused in four different nursing homes. I visited everyday, sometimes twice a day. My family went when they could. I was involved with the care of my mother and placed strict care plans, and I still could not stop the abuse.

All nursing homes needs cameras in every room, in every state, and I will campaign to get this done. Also there needs to be a nursing home reform bill. Laws need to be changed to make it a mandatory felony 3 to abuse the elderly. We have to stop nursing homes from banning family who fight for the residents bill of rights. There needs to be a law of staffing ratio, and nursing home employees should make the minimum wage of $15 an hour.
